I realize that many concepts, ideas, treatments, stories, scripts, characters,
plans, programs, films, music, designs, etc. (“Material”)
which are submitted to Traveling Mind Productions, Inc. (TMP, Inc.) are
similar to material previously used and/or submitted by others, already
under consideration, even subsequently submitted to or created by TMP,
Inc. TMP, Inc. has not solicited this submission and TMP, Inc. has agreed
to accept this submission solely as a result of my expressly requesting
TMP, Inc. to do so. I understand that TMP, Inc. must protect itself from
unwarranted claims by refusing to examine any Material submitted to it
before it receives the assurances contained in this letter.
For now and in the future:
1. I waive, release and relinquish any and all claims that I might have against TMP, Inc., its assignees, licensees, officers, employees, and representatives for any use or alleged use of the Material by TMP, Inc.
2. Unless we have a written agreement, I know that I won’t get any compensation and TMP, Inc. will not have any financial obligation to me regarding the Material.
3. In its sole discretion, TMP, Inc. has the right to not enter into any agreement with me. Neither of us claims the right to the generic concept in any media related to the subject matter of the Material.
4. I am fully authorized to make this submission, and I’m not aware of anyone else or any entity who might claim an interest in the Material that could result in any liability on TMP, Inc.’s part. I agree to hold TMP, Inc. harmless from any claim by any such parties or persons.
