“Liquid Stage: The Lure of Surfing” takes an in-depth look at surfing’s illustrious history through the people who helped shape it. Surfers such as Woody Brown, who helped pioneer board design, gliding and catamaraning, talk of surfing the North Shore in the '30s. Surfing and shaping legends Mickey Munoz, Skip Frye, Rell Sun, Carl Ekstrom, Greg Noll and Rabbit Kekai reflect on their considerable influence on the sport itself.

Liquid Stage is both an inspiration and reminder of surfing's timeless legacy. The documentary looks closely into the effect that surfing has on the lives of those who participate, done with full reverence to the spiritual inheritance.

Elegant script, crisp water photography and original music makes Liquid Stage unique in its category.
